Founded in 2007, the team at Hoodoo Adventures aims to provide quality outdoor adventures and events that truly highlight the best the Okanagan has to offer. They have brought together some of the most energetic, personable, and dedicated individuals in the industry. Bike, hike, climb and paddle. Shuttles, rentals, tours, course and events. Hoodoo Adventures is your one stop shop for adventure in the Okanagan. Most recently Hoodoo Adventures has announced that they will be hosting the World Championships of Adventure Racing in BC, with the host City being their home town of Penticton.

LYNDIE HILL | CEO
Lyndie Hill has a lifetime of outdoor experience; growing up in the Okanagan region, she has always had a passion for the area. Lyndie spent 14 years travelling and adventuring around the world and was directly involved in the outdoor industry in New Zealand for 8 years, gaining experience and multiple qualifications. Her desire to start a family and to have an impact on the community that she loves brought her home to Penticton where she has used her international experience to offer the region the opportunity to enjoy an eco-friendly, outdoor adventure, with local flare. Lyndie sees outdoor recreation and adventure tourism as the perfect platform for creating community culture and feels blessed to have such an amazing place to call home and to raise her two boys.
LINDSEY BECK | BOOKINGS MANAGER
Lindsey is our Bookings Manager, having worked with Hoodoo Adventures since 2009 – she’s our East Coaster. With a Diploma in Adventure Tourism, Lindsey acted as our lead guide for many years, involved in almost every program Hoodoo has offered at one point or another, before relocating to Nova Scotia in 2018 with her family. Lindsey now works remotely for Hoodoos, offering support in numerous areas. Lindsey is a qualified guide and has certifications in Wilderness First Aid and Mental Health Wilderness First Aid. She has led canoe, kayak, snowshoe, hiking, and climbing trips in BC and NS over the years.
CYNTHIA GAGNON | GENERAL MANAGER
Cynthia is from Ontario and was practically raised in a canoe. She has years of experience working with youth teaching outdoor survival, map and compass, and paddle skills. At a young age, she completed multiple eco challenges, multi-day canoe trips, and the highest rank of army cadets. She relocated to BC to do a white water rafting guide course, where she worked for three years taking clients down the mighty Thompson river. Living in Revelstoke she operated heavy machinery while snowboarding as much as possible. She has gotten many certifications for occupational level 3 first aids, Swift water rescue, white water rafting guide, and continues to expand her tourism education. With a heart of gold, go-getter attitude and love for the outdoors Cynthia is total asset in the Hoodoo Family!
DEAN DOUGLAS | MARKETING MANAGER
Dean has over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing under his belt. He is a proud husband and father, foodie, traveler and podcaster. He loves a good adventure, like the rest of us, with his favorites being rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking and kayaking. You’ll probably find Dean around the place taking photos and making videos to share all of our love for adventure with the world!
JOSEPH VELTRI | GYM MANAGER & ADMIN ASSISTANT
Joseph has been with the Hoodoo team for 5 years now. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the company and loves a good adventure! His favorite days are spent either out on the trail with clients, or making sure clients are getting where they need to go. He has also recently taken charge in the climbing gym and has made huge improvements to ensure our local climbing community has the best indoor climbing experience we can offer.

- CFOKE and ACSKG Assistant Sea kayak guide certification
- AMGA single pitch instructor certification
- ACMG top rope instructor certification
- Certified Sprockids youth mountain biking leader
- International certification in bush survival, mapping and navigation
- NZCG boat masters and VHF radio operators’ licences
- International certification in flat and open water sea kayak guiding
- Ski Patrol – CSPS first aid and mountain rescue
- Avalanche rescue
- Diploma in adventure tourism
- IATA Diploma in travel and tourism foundations
- Certification in a variety of leadership and ropes programs
